Genetics/Taste/Effect: This strain was bred with the sole intention of creating the darkest purple version of OG Kush available. Mendo Purps was used as a cross with the OG Kush, and the project was a success depending on what phenotype you end up with. All versions have a strong OG Kush smell with skunky grape undertones,
Taste/Effects: BlackWater is an easy smoke for sure, but the musky lemons and grape flavor lacks the fullness in flavor expected from the smell given off by the buds. The high is mostly cerebral, but if overdone BlackWater does not hesitate in putting you to sleep. Potency is medium to high, with an average duration lasting a little under two hours.
Growing: As mentioned above there are a few phenotypes of BlackWater running around. Be sure to find out what phenotype you are growing as soon as possible to properly tend to your plant’s needs. Some phenotypes do not turn purple at all; do not be discouraged, they still produce quality medicine.
Strain Analysis is based upon averaging different lab reports Note: Percentages are for general information as many variable exist. Genetics differ in the same strain family and grower, conditions, techniques and grow formulas. THC levels are important considerations as patients desire consistency in dosage levels.
